Supporting Families Through Transition
At Bursaria Early Learning Centre, our caring and experienced team is here to support families during the important transition from home to early learning. We provide a two-week orientation period to help your child and family feel comfortable and connected with our centre community. During orientation, your child will attend brief play sessions designed to gently introduce them to the new environment and educators. Together with families, we create a personalised transition plan, recognising that settling into early learning is a significant step for young children. We welcome families to share any concerns or questions throughout this process.
Ongoing Partnership and Communication
At the end of the orientation period, educators and families collaborate to assess your child’s readiness for full days at the centre. We keep open, regular communication about your child’s emotions, sleep, eating, play, and learning to ensure their wellbeing is supported every step of the way. Family involvement is important to us and your feedback helps us tailor our approach to meet the unique needs of each child and family at Bursaria Early Learning Centre.
