Educational Program

At Bursaria Early Learning Centre, we understand the profound importance of a child’s first year. In Nursery 1 our educators create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where infants are encouraged to explore and build secure, trusting relationships with caring adults. Each child’s interests and individual goals guide our program planning, ensuring meaningful and responsive experiences.

At Bursaria Early Learning Centre, we cherish the early years as a time of wonder, discovery, and growing independence. In Nursery 2 room, children are encouraged to explore their surroundings and build meaningful relationships with peers and educators. As they begin to move with confidence and express themselves, our educators guide them gently, modelling respectful communication and nurturing positive social connections.

At Bursaria Early Learning Centre, we honour toddlers as active explorers and joyful learners discovering their place in the world. Our Toddler 1 Room offers a calm and inviting environment where children are encouraged to follow their curiosity, build trusting relationships, and develop a growing sense of independence.

At Bursaria Early Learning Centre, the Toddler 2 Room is a vibrant space where children’s curiosity and growing independence blossom. We invite each child to explore, create, and connect within a nurturing environment that honours their unique pace and interests.

At Bursaria Early Learning Centre, we invite our preschoolers to move freely between indoor and outdoor spaces, choosing where their curiosity leads them. This autonomy nurtures a deep sense of belonging and confidence as children engage with their environment in meaningful ways.

Our School Readiness Program at Bursaria Early Learning Centre supports children’s smooth transition into formal schooling by nurturing their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth in a thoughtful, child-centred way. Guided by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we believe school readiness happens best when children are active participants in their learning and supported in developing confidence, curiosity, and independence.
